Latinos have been active as photographers nearly from the inception of the medium but are essentially absent from standard histories of photography. Latinx Photography in the United States traces the work of over eighty Latinx portraits, photojournalists, and documentarians in a comprehensive study of the history of Latinx photography in the US.
